It's the first 'Beach city market', and Amethyst and Peridot go to see what it's all about. Conflict arises when something small and fuzzy entertains Peridot's eye. Amedot.

Peridot used to be popular in the past. She had power, but she didn't get that power by being nice. She eventually lost it all and found herself alone. However, there were people willing to let her into their group, giving her a second chance. Thanks to them, Peridot finally found herself. But years later when someone from her past comes back, they aren't willing to give her that second chance. Not liking that fact that she was being judged by her wrong actions in the past, she tries to do anything in her power to make it up to them. Note: This is the first book in a series. There will be both Lapidot and Amedot, as I love both ships. I don't know what the end game will be, but I'll have a long time to think about that. The other books will be more one-shot oriented, but they'll certainly stay chronological. All characters belong to Rebecca Sugar Rated T for swearing, heavy topics, and more.

I had this idea in my head for awhile..okay for a few months but I never got around to making it into a story. Here's a basically summary. Lapis gives birth to a baby malachite but due to all the things she's been through she abandons it. Due to feeling sorry for the poor gemlings peridot decides to to care of it.
