An AU where Padme survives the events after giving birth. Though she believes Anakin to be dead. Anakin barely survived the events on Mustafar and when he had awoken he thought he had done the biggest mistake. Killing his wife. The two grapple with their new realities both believing the other died that day on Mustafar. But what happens when Padme becomes involved in the rebellion? And what happens when a certain Sith Lord hears about a rebel cell popping up in Naboo?

The Jedi aren't the only ghosts in the galaxy. Non force-sensitives can do the same, after death, and unlike the Jedi, they exploit their positions to meddle in the affairs of the galaxy. Possessing the unusual ability to use a human form (though not that of their former selves), these ghosts use it to their meddling advantage. The Order of the Dead, to put it simply, is less of an order and more of a squad of girls, who didn't quite get what they deserved: a little fun. The twins of legend were born, but to protect them from the power-hungry Sith Lord Palpatine that is looking for his next apprentice, the twins were split. They never knew about one another and were raised with each parent. Luke and Leia are brought back together when things in the senate begin to take a turn for the worse and their parents are displaced from keeping the dark side at bay.

People always wonder what it would be like if Anakin hadn't turned to the dark side. If he had just let Palpatine die at the hand of Mace Windu. If he had gone on to raise Luke and Leia with Padme. But what would really happen? Over thirty years after the first Death Star was destroyed, the Skywalker twins are raising their own children. Leia has married Han Solo and is thriving as the Chief of State of the New Republic with her three children: Jacen, Jaina, and Anakin. Luke has married Mara Jade, the former hand of the Emporer, and when he's not training the next generation of Jedi on Yavin 4, he's being a father to his kids, Ben and Amidala. Now, thirty years after the death of Anakin Skywalker, Luke and Leia have the chance to change everything.
