They all find themselves stuck in Phoenix when flights all over the country are canceled due to a mysterious event. To relieve boredom, the bands find themselves at Big Surf Waterpark. Songs, confrontations, and shenanigans soon ensue. The stipulations for the contest were as follows: Jem attending a music festival in your hometown, some kind of global crisis grounds all flights, you had to mention a local landmark, and you had to mention an orange, feathered boa.
