Hey hey hey!! :D I recently finished Banana Fish and OMFG OML it was fkin amazing 10/10 - and so I decided to commemorate the obsession with some fanfics :P No spoilers, just your usual fluff/smut/lemon warning. One shots and short stories to come. Reader-chan will be hooking up with, you guessed it, Shorter Wong ^^ I'll address a trigger warning when necessary as I'd like to explore heavier themes in this. Because of the unpleasant ending we were giving in Banana Fish that broke each and every single one of our hearts, I have decided to make an ending where no pain or sadness is involved. 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝗼 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐜𝗼𝗺𝗺𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝗼𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝗼𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬!! :) The beginning of the story will leave off when Sing gave Ash the letter. *I do not own any of the characters, anything that is not related to the ending at all belongs to me, such as the happy ending I made lol. But the story I was telling in the beginning came straight from the ending of the actual anime, so therefore I do not own that. :))

Ash and Eiji fly to Japan together, Eiji had already planned what to show Ash in Japan. They were both really excited to finally be away from all the stress they faced in America. The flight was pretty long but it was worth the wait. Eiji was so excited, he was still making his mind up on what to show the green eyed boy sitting next to him. He was overwhelmingly happy, almost like it wasn't real.

His hands were shaking, his throat started to burn. «I can't, I can't do it, okay? I can't be happy, I will never be fully happy now, I'm so sorry I'm disappointing everyone! I'm sorry I am such a burden!» he shouted out. Waking up in the morning, staring at the sun and wondering for what or for who he was living for; it had become routine since years now. Would he ever really be fully happy? Would he ever be able to live his life fully by letting go of what was holding him back? ----- Post "Garden Of Lights". New characters and some elements have been created-modified to fit the story.

Kinda obvious, but ‼️BANANA FISH SPOILERS‼️ I may or may not have recently watched Banana Fish (again), the show broke me, and I need a different ending. So I made a continuation of it because I would trade everything for Ash and Eiji to be happy. This is honestly probably going to be terrible because I literally have no further plot 💀. This is all only just to bring Ash back 🫡🫡

A short story of Eiji processing grief through letters.

Two years have past since the Banana Fish epidemic. Cain, Sing and Ash made a somewhat alliance that they follow so another Arthur doesn't show up. During the two year gap, Ash spend his time in the library or online. He studied hard to get ready to move to Japan. Of course, Eiji didn't know about the surprise he'd soon get.

"I don't like this sweater," Eiji admits, smoothing the fabric down. "I'm sorry," Ash says. "I'll take it off," he curls into his shoulder. "I'll throw it away. I'll burn it. I'll do whatever you want me to do to it." in which eiji catches ash from falling away from him once again.

Eiji and Reki are childhood friends. After his pole vaulting accident, Eiji suffers from depression but tries to find his way back to school with Reki's help. Things begin to het more interested when they get two new students called Ash Lynx whose body language tells everyone to stay away and Langa Hasegawa, a student who rarely talks and has a cold and expressionless face. Maybe a new dawn will break for all of them?

This is a headcanon on what Ash would reply to eiji's letter. :( *Warning* pain
