Alex Gaskarth can't seem to keep it together. His girlfriend left him and now, he's watching his life fall apart around him as his anxiety takes over. When everything becomes too much, he goes to visit his aunt in South Carolina. All he needs is a break from touring and all the memories of the girl he can't stop loving. However, there's more waiting for him in the south than a well-meaning aunt and some relaxation. Could a sweet southern belle be the saving grace Alex needs or will he never quite recover from the wounds his ex left?

Alexander William Gaskarth was pronounced dead on December 20th at 4:30am despite nearly ten hours of medical attention and four different emergency surgeries. ~~~ I automatically turn around, my heart about to jump out of my chest. Instead of silence I can hear the speeding sound of my heartbeat. Tears have never flowed so fast I think my eyes are broken. I'm obviously seeing things.

So many things have been bothering Jack in these past eight months. They're all small things that have never bothered him before, he never even noticed them. He realizes what is wrong with him one day, when the memories all come flooding back, and he finally decides to do something about it.

Jack was a transferee and Alex was --- an emo, suicidal dork --- a douche bag in school. Everyone would say that Alex was a curse, cause everyone who've bullied him last year were tormented. But he had claimed that it wasn't his doing. Some did believe, but eventually, the bullying haven't stop. He had been building up walls around him and he was friendless. Not until Jack came around and offered him an unexpected friendship. He thought it was hilarious at first but Jack successfully managed to break down the walls that Alex have set up for himself. Now what would become of him? One day, they would wake up, living to the fact that everything have completely changed. Or was it totally destroyed. But what was it anyways? A beautiful catastrophe? Sky is Alex Gaskarth's sister, but after an argument 3 years ago they are yet to meet again.
