I've lived my whole life in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Nothing exciting ever happens here, except for the annual party the mayor throws. Our celebrities? The mayor's sons. Oh, and that old oak tree. That stupid tree. It changed everything. Inspired by the movie A Thousand Words. This is a random idea that I had, so let's see how it goes!

A six word love story

Reece Bremer goes through life with a scowl and cold personality. Jessica Andrews goes through life with a glowing smile and positive outlook. Reece looks at life with dull, judgmental eyes that make him hate the world and the people living in it. Jessica, well... She looks at life through a camera. Literally. They're polar opposites, and that's what sparks Reece's immediate hate for Jessica the moment they meet. All he sees is a girl with the best life, put in the category of those who get everything handed to them on a silver platter. But who says Jessica's life is like that? Just like a photograph, there's more to the story than what you see. Stumbling across one of Jessica's hidden portfolio might reveal that her happiness isn't all that true. Behind that smile and each picture she takes, holds a thousand words of a very big secret - one that Reece is determined to find out. And who knows? Quinn Kennedy, discovered escape in life with a camera and razor. One helped her see the world, the other made her feel it. Once she saves a blue eyed boy from a suicide attempt, everything changes when she finds out who is he. WARNING: self-harm, and swearing.

My entry into the PicAStory competition. They were a good family. Oh, they had their fights, and the twins couldn't get along for more than in hour, in the true nature of siblings, but they were a good family. They were generally civil, and their fights never lasted long. All three of the children were good students. But if they were such a good family, how could one year tear them apart?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I want to know what exactly are those a thousand words. This will be a book filled with short stories based on pictures. Each story will be at least a thousand words long. What that picture is, well that's for you to decide. You bring the picture and I will bring the words. Enjoy.
