Three teenagers in the 1940s, tied together by an invisible string that will intertwine their stories for the foreseeable future. Stories long lost to folklore shall now be told for evermore. James, the school's biggest dreamboat. His life is perfect. He's handsome, he has a good friend group, and a perfect home life. Every girl wants him, but his eyes are only set on Betty, the love of his life since the first time he saw her. That is, until a new girl comes into his life. She changes everything for him, and he knows he'll have to choose eventually, he can feel August slipping away, only a moment in time. Who will James choose? Betty, quiet to most, but quite talkative to those she love. Growing up in an abusive home, she is not quick to trust others, having a small but tight-knit friend group. James may have loved her from the moment they met, but Betty loved him ferociously from when she fell. However, when someone new comes into the picture, their relationship is tested. Will James and Betty become another story lost to folklore, or shall they remain together for evermore like they dreamed? Augustine, the new girl in town. Growing up in upstate New York and having to move to Pennsylvania, she is not thrilled about this new journey, especially when she finds out she'll be enrolled in a Catholic private school instead of the public school in her new town. But when she meets James, her life flips upside down. He may have a girlfriend, but Augustine knows that they were made for each other. James has to choose her, right?

Inez is the school gossip, and one of the most popular girls. Betty and Inez's family is a mess. Augustine is a wannabe influencer, popular girl, and crushing hard on the guy that has to stay with them this summer. James is the boy that has to stay with the Greys this summer, against his will or not. Deciding between the girl of his American dreams and wants nothing to do with him or the girl who is head over heels in love with him.

This is just my version of the Folklore and Evermore story. All ideas are mine so please don't copy. This will have like 30 chapters, but is not a book. I consider it a collection of short stories or something akin to a synopsis of the story. It won't take very long to read. !TW!: mentions of war, death, sex, violence, grief, suicidal thoughts/themes and other sensitive topics. There is some swearing and some mild sex scenes. Nothing will be too graphic, but if you are sensitive to any of these elements, I advise caution.

{Book One} "An alien? Yeah right, and unicorns exist too, right?" So, maybe I was being a little rude to the girl I'd just met. Who cared? Certainly not me; my whole life had been living hell; a little rudeness from lil' old me was nothing, I hoped. The girl wearing a deer antler headband cocked her head to the side, gazing at me with the most confused and or conflicted expression I'd ever seen, and I'd seen a lot of expressions in my life time. "Of course they do, on my planet, they are considered royalty. In fact-" I waved my hands in the air, in defeat. This girl had what she might've thought a "logical" answer to every question I'd asked her. "Whatever, okay? Look, it's getting late, you should go home. Your parents might be looking for you." The girl hadn't been that much younger than me, but my mother's ways had long since rubbed off on me, and I absentmindedly cared about everyone else. I considered it a second nature. "My.. parents? Please, what are these parents you speak of? And what is a.. home?"

So I basically wrote my take of the Folklore love triangle, and this will feature James, Augustine, and Betty's point of views. I'm not sure how long it will take me to update this, and please leave your feedback in the comments:)
