This take place after Lan Wangji had rescued Wen Yuan "A-Yuan" and returned to Gusu and around when he had to go stay in seclusion for 3 years, as his punishment was still ongoing, and raising baby A-Yuan while in seclusion; and post seclusion... with his brother and uncle helping him, of course...

Jiang Feiniao, the hidden third Jiang heir, has been seclusion with his kids. Peacefully living his days in spite of his condition. However Jin Ling wasn't pleased with this and wanted to meet his other jiujiu. One day he seeks in the seclusion quarters to see only Wei Wuxian. What the heck is going on?

I can't stop thinking of Lan WangJi raising baby A-Yuan...and so here I have my second little fic on them. Just a regular evening in Cloud Recesses for Lan Zhan and the son he shared with his Wei Ying...

We don't get to see Lan Zhan during those years he searched for Wei Ying and raised A-Yuan...and I had a few random thoughts that all coalesced into this rambling fic of a random day that's almost a year after Lan WangJi comes out of seclusion and dives back into life...One, I wanted Lan QiRen to get the cold treatment from his beloved nephew, even if it is in classic LWJ fashion. Two, I recently discovered La XiChen can sketch and paint and is an awesome artist so I wanted him to teach A-Yuan...Three, just LWJ juggling his duties as HanGuang Jun, his search for the love of his life that he already lost once, and him raising this sweet child who at the moment is all he has left of Wei Ying...

"You mentioned Lan Zhan," Lan Xichen nodded, expression falling into one of despair, "I've been trying to help for a while, but he wouldn't listen to me. And now...he's caught in a terrible situation, a dangerous situation, " Wei WuXian's heart thumped, worry curling around the flickers of memories in his mind. He glanced at Jiang Cheng who nodded with lips pressed together in a line, "Zewu Jun and all the sect leaders have been trying but no result. Zewu Jun then brought up to me privately to come to you, since you're probably the best-fitted person to help," Wei WuXian arched an eyebrow hearing this, he then stated "Hanguang Jun is in danger? The Hanguang Jun? And now Zewu Jun comes to me of all people for help? Exactly how terrible is this for you to turn to me?" "WangJi is getting corrupted by resentment energy," Wei WuXian choked on the sip of tea, turning his head and covering his mouth as he coughed. When he recovered he sat up slightly pale, "He's WHAT?!"

So I keep thinking of how Lan WangJi raised A-Yuan to be who he is today - warm, kind, rule abiding but free thinking and open-minded at the same time. And since I love them and am obsessed with Dad!Lan WangJi and little Sizhui, I thought I should do another fic on them :) Here we have a twelve-year old Sizhui who pleaded to be taken along on a night hunt, getting into a little bit of trouble because he was trying to help someone, Lan WangJi handling it and taking care of Sizhui who was out in the rain for a bit. While he misses Wei Ying and looks for any sign of him wherever he goes. Nothing too sad...more about how Lan WangJi re-evaluates the efficacy of 3500+ rules and how he perceives them...and some father-son feels <3

Lan Wangji recognises Wei Wuxian immediately on the Dafan mountain. How? Because of a song he wrote just for him .... WangXian. . But is he really WWX? . . Reading MDZS...and watching the Untamed 😊 I really wish we had an extra from MXTX that showed us the upright and cool HanGuang Jun plonking A-Yuan in a pile of rabbits and laughing and playing with him *sigh* Even the villains got an extra story :/ and instead of Sizhui's flashbacks we only have one line when Sizhui tells Wen Ning that HanGuang Jun buried him in a mountain of bunnies a-la Wei Wuxian planting him in a radish field (was it turnips, nvm)... So I thought about it and thought about it... then I wrote about it😇
