"How far can we get to establish a friendship, a romance or a hostility? The world is wrapped in a chaos and that's difficult to visualize. Words do not complete the subtleties needed to describe this reality. Remember, accept and fight.
What is the main plot of this story? Is my story, my experiences, my memories"
Makoto Naegi used to be a normal young man before getting involved in a death game were he had to see his friends die, although he can't remember them. Now, after time has passed, he decides to do everything in his power to remember them, but that causes the discovery of a terrifying truth, a truth that they made him forget, only to make him go insane.
This is not a fight between good and evil, or dispair against hope, not even luck against misfortune. It is a manifestation of truth, and that reality is not how they use to show it.
An endless struggle against the world, against a rival and against himself, maybe that is what they call to mature. Others may call it acceptance. But the reader will have the last word, and this way the reader is invited to judge the accions of the protagonist.
This is the story that has not been told about Danganronpa, beyond the media circus, beyond the games, beyond perversion. This is the true story about who is Makoto Naegi, Who he really was, about what kind of guilt he had for everything that had happened.
Junko Enoshima, The Ultimate Despair, the biggest antagonist in the world, of all times, just wants to see The Ultimate Lucky Student fall. She wants to see him break into a thousand pieces, she wants to know who he really is and show him the truth.
Who will win at the end? What lies behind all that reality? What do the Remnants of Dispair plan? Is she still alive?
This is a more adult take on the world of Danganronpa, Told from the point of view of Makoto Naegi and narrated by himself
