Fate tore them apart. Fate also brought them back together. Wounded by her father's actions, Aina tried to navigate through her life with much difficulty until she finds herself intertwined with the one person she thought she wouldn't see again. As Amaan tries to bring her back into his life, whether he is successful or not depends on how he recovers from the obstacles life throws their way. Will they learn from past mistakes; learn how to forgive and forget? Or will all their efforts die in vain. Their love drowning in the deepest depths of the oceans never to be seen or heard of again. (Based on the Pakistani drama Yeh Dil Mera and picks up a year after Aina and Amaan's heartbreaking departure from each other)

Which - I started out interested in shipping Aina and Manon, but now with the second chapter release I'm sliding towards shipping Manon Nadereh, though I still like Aina and Manon.

This is written for the Froday Flash Fiction Little Special for the month of June 2021 where the sentences of the story go through the letters of the alphabet in some manner. Story also needed to be a hundred words or more. Am I writing this ship because I think it will become canon? Nope. I simply couldn't help but notice how awkward the two characters could be around each other at times which sparked the idea in my head.

Miyu is a 18 year old girl who was kidnapped by the King/Emperor and forced to work as a maid. She didn't want to be away from her family. Every year, the king chooses a new maid for his personal chores. His last personal maid had disappeared. A few weeks later, Miyu follows the King around to assist him whenever he needs it done. she was ordered to move into the room next to his. she gets up and walks to his room. she waits until he come back to assist him.

I was never the damsel in distress, but the damsel who created the distress. I was irresistible and every boy's fantasy. I was an overachiever and I always got what I wanted; my father made sure of that. He had the purest heart and the kindest soul. He saw past my vanity and I fell in love with him. But, I betrayed him and my lies ruined our lives. Apologizing wasn't enough, because what I had broken was beyond repair. Is this a love story? I don't know. All I know, is this story - it's imperfect but it's mine.
