Four stones. Four Guardians. One Destiny. Luka Colibo is a 16 year old boy who has a calm and kind personality. He is a very talented musician having being a guitarist and a singer. He has moved to a small town in Northeast Victoria, Australia, called Hawkridge. Luka is starting as a new student in year 10 at Hawkridge Secondary College. Matilda Parsons is a 16 year old girl who has lived in Hawkridge her entire life. She herself is also a talented musician who plays bass and another secret instrument that she doesn't tell many people about. She also plays soccer, and can get quite competitive. Matilda is quiet, but loud when she wants to be heard and/or when she is comfortable around the people she knows. The story begins with normal school life, friendships, and some occasional competition, then slowly grows into something magical and unheard of. The elemental stones are calling for their chosen guardians. The only problem, is finding them before someone else gets there hands on them and uses them for the wrong reasons. (The book starts off completely off topic to the title but it will eventually build to its name).
