"I-I don't know, it just sort of happened I guess." Alex says shrugging as they say on the bridge looking at the peaceful river with the gentle summers breeze blowing on them. Jack turned a dusty pink and he says "Is it bad that I'm flattered by that?" making Alex chuckle and sniffle "No, it tells me that you don't hate me" he says looking at him. Jack turned to Alex with a serious expression on his face and he cupped the boy's chin gently making Alex look at him dead in the eyes. "I could never hate you Alex. You mean too much to me." He says seriously which made Alex blush but mumble "But not enough to be your boyfriend." under his breath. Jack sighed and says "Look I don't know what the future will hold but I do know this, as long as I get to see you smile. Everything's alright in my world" smoothly and Alex melted into a puddle.
