Acceptance. That's what every person looks for in life. Laelynn Lee is no exception. In fact, it's because of this that turns her whole life around. It started from trying to be accepted by others, like her friends and family to trying to accept some guy named Alex Gray who claims she is his so - called mate. While she is at it she needs to accept him as a werewolf....or the fact that werewolves exist all together. Along the way she even managed to surprise her own mate by quickly accepting him on the condition that he needs to erase her existence from her mom's memory. Alex is of course surprised that his mate isn't the freaked out human mate that he expected of her but he quickly accepts and looks forward to being with his mate. Once Laelynn is shown the werewolf world, she can't even catch her breath knowing that her mate's an Alpha, the leader of a pack of werewolves, which makes her a Luna, the female leader of the pack. How is she supposed to lead others when she barely kept her life together when she was at home? Not to mention that she needs to lead a pack of werewolves. How can she ever get used to living with these shape shifting people, the half - naked guys, and her mate's possessiveness?
