We all know the story of Cinderella, right? The evil step-family the fairy godmother, the glass slippers, and midnight, right? Well, this is the story of Danielle. She wants NOTHING to do with the prince, and all she did was put on a mask that The Witch gave her, and vòila, she was set. But the prince is intrigued by this less than interested girl he met at the ball, and all he wants to do is find her. Danielle loses her shoe at the ball, while running away. So begins a world-wide woman-hunt for "the girl who fits the shoe". I SUCK AT DESCRIPTIONS. PLEASE READ IT. LIANNE

Alexandre Bennet, a chauffeur just trying to get by with his measly paycheck, and Ethen Sterling, a famous celebrity known for his singing, find that during their ride together they start to feel emotions that seem to be unexplainable. They start to talk and learn about each other more. They realize that it's not a friendship they both want, but something more. "What will the press think? The fans? Will people be supportive? Or will we be harassed?" A struggle of trying to hide a relationship while in the spotlight.

This chapter was really long but it's like you getting to know the characters and the interesting parts happen in the second chapter (btw it's in my drafts)

This is a short story inspired by the painting "Drouth Stricken Land" by Alexander Hogue (1934). This painting is featured in the Dallas Museum of Art, where the photograph of the picture was taken. The story is of a young boy during the Dust Bowl of middle America. He is awaiting his father and brother to return from the nearest town where they are looking for work. However, while they are gone, he is stuck looking after his mother and bad news keeps coming in, including the constant teasing f rain just beyond the horizon.
