This poem was inspired and composed while I was in Washington DC at the National Mall site seeing and reading then suddenly I was inspired to write a letter to the nation on how I feel as a black man in America and a gave my opinion on why lower class citizens especially African American/ Hispanic feel the way they do about our government. I am not a poet or politician I'm just expressing my feels, views, and observations through the pin.

Desiree Placencio is just your averge teenage girl, she's not popular but has good friends she's not rich but has what she needs, but she's broken being abused all her life by her older adoptive brother Andrew, Andrew blames Desiree for his parents accident ever since that day it all happened. Will he stop abusing her or will she meet someone that could save her from the hell she's living.

the writer uses aliens invading from their home planet as a metaphor to highlight the systemic problem of racism. In that aliens are living among the humans in the fictional universe this story takes place.

This story follows the tale of Max Witherman, a disabled 11 year old boy whose legs are too weak and too small to be able to walk. Max always finds himself at the bottom of the food chain when the bullies come around. After a freak accident, the doctor suggests that he should take it easy and not go to school. But Max is determined to start again and at least try to make things better... And it does! Max later meets Flynn, Amalia, Dawn, and Jiro. The kids soon learn that the school will be shut down, PERMANENTLY, as they're not raising enough money to keep it. Max and his friends need to find a way to save their school... but how? this story teaches readers about kindness, equality, and friendship.
