What was supposed to be a fun and relaxing holiday had turned into a tragedy which had left Ryan (8-BitRyan) and Rhys (Razzbowski) with more injuries than they could even count, both physically and mentally. However, the damage which they had endured was rather merciful when compared to what their friends had gone through. When presented with the opportunity to recover, they somewhat hesitantly accept, only to realise that they had signed up to another nightmare. Or more specifically, Lewis's (Dawko's) nightmare, designed to torture any who step foot inside, with a promise to never let them leave again. It is time for the group to finally understand that some wounds won't ever heal, and that hell is far worse than what they first perceived it to be.

So in this AU sonic is known as his usual self, running around saving the day blah blah blah. but who handles the dirty stuff? there comes in the phantom riders. Now, I know that the phantom rider was only used in a small arc for the IDW comics, but in this, he deals with crimes and muggings rather than Egg-man's schemes. (oh yeah, and the IDW arc didn't take place, i just like the alter ego for sonic, it's juicy.)

I will warn you now. This was my first fanfiction. Read at your own caution, because it's BAD. It was half-assed, unplanned, and most of it was improvisation along the way. I'm rewriting it with a much better plot and themes at the moment! It'll be posted once it's finished and this will be unpublished.
