Throughout her fall semester, she experiences toxic and manipulative events with her boyfriend, Tate Langdon. After a fateful night of fighting and conflict, she runs out of his house and goes to her best friend since middle school, Warren Pikes. And so forth, the love triangle begins. She had a tendency to hurt herself out of anxiety, so her father put her on medication, it stopped her from harming herself but she it caused her to be even more with drawn and spacey than she usually.
