In the third volume of Patriots, Liza Byers has experienced the unthinkable in New York City. Her experiences have left her mentally scarred and seemingly descending into madness, much to the dismay of her parents. However, she still has a job to do: coax the secrets out of British officers with the power of charm and seduction. After fleeing her hometown once again with the help of her friend Jack Maris, she proves herself to have the useful skill of shooting, something Major Benjamin Tallmadge decides to utilize. She is cast fully into the experience of spying on multiple levels, including taking music lessons from the dashing and charming John Andre. She is supposed to take advantage of her new connections, but it is increasingly harder as she finds herself developing feelings for them. On top of this, it conflicts with her affection for her beloved Jack, who grows increasingly distrustful of her assignments. Zeb becomes more defensive and jealous towards her new romance with the man he sees as unfit for her, and Isaac seems to be wavering in his calculated romance with the heiress Margarita Schuyler. Is there even time for love in the midst of a seemingly impossible war? Perhaps it is the only thing that can keep the war going.

Picture this: a world stuck in its old ways, clinging to the familiar. Now drop Martha Jefferson into that scene, someone who refuses to play by the script handed to her.. It's 1776, the air thick with revolution and expectation. Folks expect Martha to be well-mannered, obedient, seen, but not heard. She has other plans. Instead of shrinking back, Martha goes off-script entirely and transforms into an inventor nobody saw coming. Behind closed doors (and away from prying eyes), she builds something wild, a contraption everyone insists is impossible, and then proves them all wrong by launching it skyward. You see, curiosity doesn't wear a corset or keep quiet just because tradition says so. Still, every breakthrough brings its own storm clouds. With society eager to hush women like her and influential watchers keeping tabs on her every move, Martha finds herself at a crossroads: walk away from what she's built or wager everything for the sake of progress. So what does she do. She rallies a motley crew of fellow dreamers, people cut from different cloths, but sharing one restless spirit, and together they set out on an audacious journey. Their goal isn't just tinkering with science; it's about rewriting the rules designed to box them in.

The last time the representative of British America and the West British Indies²⁵ - who went by his alias Alfred F. Jones¹ around humans - was in Boston, it was during the Boston Massacre. He could remember the pain from it. It wasn't the worst pain he'd ever felt, but the principle of it made it far worse than it was; he and most Patriots² strongly believed the Redcoats had no right to shoot - though Alfred would be the first to admit that the newspapers were a bit... exaggerated (he didn't quite want to use the "p" word³, it felt wrong). But, in 1773, he was in Boston for a very different reason. Alfred Jones had had a feeling. He couldn't explain it. But it beckoned him to go to Boston. Also, the letter from Samuel Addams asking him to come contributed as well. So he did. He knew the British Empire would have likely reprimanded him for that, but what wouldn't he have reprimanded him for? - A mostly historically accurate story about the Boston Tea Party. This book contains footnotes; the second chapter is historical notes based on this footnotes. If you do not read the historical notes, please assume that everything in here is in accurate. Though most of what I wrote is accurate to the best of my knowledge, I'd rather not spread misinformation.

A different side of the same story, read about a young slave named Darcaue, who will show readers what it might have been like to be apart of such a historic event- as a black man. *This story is about 10,000 words or 18 pages long*

He underwent training on camps and has a skill as a shooter but will this be enough to survive the battlefield? A peek on a soldier's thoughts as he goes to face the British army while a worried mother waited at home. *Highest ranking - #208 on Historical Fiction (03/31/2018)

My first attempt at writing for the general public to give their opinion. Give feedback and how I can help this grow. I wrote this from the US, then UK perspective of an engagement in a wheat field. The story hasn't been fleshed out yet and I use flash backs from "character present to their past.
