“Bethany,” Cassandra, Bethany’s mother, called, “come down here and enjoy the rest of your party.” Bethany did as told. It wasn’t very pretty when her mother got angry with her. As she walked down the steps she could have sworn he saw a pixie. ‘Just a trick of the light’ she thought. Bethany shuddered, but kept down the stairs. Her mother was waiting by the back door that led to the little park next door. Behtany went out to join her friends when Simon came in to talk to Cassandra, “You will have to tell her evenutally.” “I know, but not now. I don’t want to ruin her childhood scared a Jerkie is hiding under her bed,” Cassandra said, reffering to the olny demon who would try to scare little children. “You do check right?” Simon said jokingly. Cassandra nodded. “I hope that those pesky fairies won’t try and ruin the surprise,” Simon said. Cassandra laughed. Simon could do that, make her laugh. “If only Jermy was here,” Cassandera said refering to her dead son, “He would protect her.” Bethany is just a regular fifthteen year old girl, and that’s ture until she turns sixteen. Bethany’s mother tells he about her true life as a Shadowhunter. She figures out she can fight demons, shadows, heartless, and underworlders. Can Bethany handel it all? Will her best friend, Andie, still be there for her? Or will her world unravel with four little words?

Prologue "Andrew, give it back pwease." I was on the verge of crying because drew didnt want to give me my teddy bear back. "Aw don't cry Lillie I'm sorry." Drew said while lowering his hand to my reach. I quickly grabbed sir peanut butter and dug my face into his neck. "Don't act like a baby Lillie Pad." He said "I'm not a baby," i argued,"I'm almost 5!" "Yeah but I'm 6" he yelled. "That doesn't matter!"I yelled back. "Okay I'm sorry Lillie, do you still love me?" he questioned lowering his voice a little. My pout soon transferred to a small smile "I'll always wuv you silly" I said. "Andrew! It's time to go! I gave him a questioning look. Why did he have to leave? He usually left when the sun started going down. It's barley like...um...it's still in the morning. "I'm sorry Lillie Pad, I was going to tell you but I didn't want to upset you. I'm moving away from California." Andrew said A warm tear slid down my face and fell to the ground. "Y-your leaving me alone?" I said with not only one tear but millions running down my face. "I'm sorry Lillie please don't cry. I hate it when you cry." Andrew said hugging me. "Come on Andrew!" His mother yelled from the driveway. I sighed and shut my eyes tightly and stuck my lips out into the air. I soon felt a pair of soft lips meet mine. Our kiss lasted for a good 5 seconds before he pulled away and said his last few words. "I love you Lillie Pad. I always have and always will. Bye." "I love you too" I whispered. He hopped into the car but not before stealing one last glance. A single tear fell down his face.

A weird, randomly, romantic (I guess) book that I made up with that is about a tomboy (Chloe Moore) and her friend (Cleo) doing videos for new arrivals at school. Since when the new arrivals come to school she met her perfect match named Cole Pierce.
