My AU for the The Amazing World of Gumball. Anais has been merged with the Void, and now struggles to keep her original life, wether it be from memory loss, or straight up being stuck in limbo.

After all the events during The Vacation- Trouble In Paradise, a year has passed and The Watterson family has only grown closer. Gumball has reconnected completely with his extended family, and in the space of a year, his children, Tristan and Penelope, have grown so much. He still has his loving wife by his side, he and his brother Darwin have grown closer over the events last two years, and as a result, both of their children now have close bonds to their uncles. Meanwhile, Anais is coming home to Elmore at last after spending 6 months away conducting her research for whatever it was she does (no one else in the family really understands!) and some time with all the family together will be just what she needs after being gone so long. Now another Christmas is on the horizon, and, not that anyone knows it, but it will be one to remember... This is a tribute story to @SpartaofGreece who is the author of my favourite TAWOG fanfic series "The Vacation" and I wanted to make this as a small Christmas special (and if Sparta wants to use it as a prequel for The Vacation 3 if a third one comes out, then feel free!) The inhabitants are creatures born from combining Human DNA and animal DNA by the US government. They have been placed there with no knowledge of what's actually going on. Years later, Gumball accidentally breaches containment on a bus passing by and ends up in Los Angeles. His random appearance shatters what people thought for a long time. The government try to cover it up, but ultimately fail. WARNING! THIS STORY CONTAINS PROFANITY! DO NOT READ IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE IT!

Anais goes to the Mating ball looking for a mate but ends up finding her nemieses. Will they ever be able to stand each other?
