As a fight for self worth rampages through the students of Welton Academy, support is found from the new, liberal-minded english teacher, Mr. Keating. The halls of this school'tell the story of a youthful, tragic romance between the willful Neil Perry and Todd Anderson. By route of loss and triumph, the boys find their way in a world unwanting of individuality and self expression through written word and risky choices, and are met finally with a chance for a path of nonconformity.

Neil was caught between a hard place and a rock. His lungs heaved as he desperately tried to suck in air, but to no avail. He couldn't breath. Tears ran down his face as he smothered his strangled sobs against his pillow. He didn't know how long he could keep up this act. All he wanted was Todd. Todd couldn't sleep. He hadn't been able to for the past few nights. All he could think about was Neil. His lips as they closed over a cigarette. His brown eyes sparkling as he practiced his lines as Puck. His wet hair and how it clung to his neck after a shower. Todd squeezed his eyes tight as he tried to will away the wicked images. He shouldn't be staring at his best friend like that. It was unnatural. It meant he was a fairy. Yet Todd couldn't help but stare. A story of two boys coming together, overcoming some of life's obstacles, and falling in love with each other; until one is tragically taken away.

"Do we get second chances in this life, Todd?" Neil asks him like he expects a negative answer. Todd doesn't give that to him. "Yes. We do. I know it." "Do you?" Neil grins, playfully elbowing him. "Did you at least wait to take it? That second chance? Until the world was more peaceful? More kind?" After Neil died, Todd could not find the will to do anything. This is a short story about Todd's grief and the ways that it manifests. Anderperry was not an established relationship but they kinda both knew they were in love.

Twins, Bailey and Todd stuck together through thick and thin. They found solitude in each other while facing both people at school and home. Read as they grow and break free from their ethnic beliefs, form bonds, find themselves and fall in love. Could be read as an modern dead poets society fic as I've included the characters into this book.

Todd is watching helplessly as Neil is carted away after the play, when he is visited by three strange spirits. Each spirit reveals to him a different aspect of his story, and the gives Todd one last chance to save Neil. But will he be able to do it? Or will he learn a lesson in preventing the inevitable?(A Christmas Carol knockoff, happy holidays)

Todd offered Neil a smile, and the boy swore that his heart didn't nearly leap out of his chest. It was like the attraction he had felt upon their first meeting but intensified by ten, as if all the pinning he had done over the past few weeks had built this unassuming boy into an Adonis in his mind. This was ridiculous, Neil Perry was calm, cool, and collected at all times. He was charming, and level headed, and definitely did not swoon over pretty boys that were shy to a point of near physical pain for them and everyone around them.

When Neil Perry gets kicked out for wanting to pursue his dream of acting in the arts, he whismfully lives on the streets a considerable time before he stumbles upon an ad tacked up near the market he lifts from- "LOOKING FOR FREAKS, THE ABNORMAL AND THE UNUSUALLY TALENTED" Although barely fitting the description, Neil decides that this is his break into the dream of performing that he's invisioned-will his lack "abnormality" come to bite him once he's in the greatest show?
