Dear diary: Lately, I've been feeling like a depressed philosopher. Documenting my feelings because it feels as though there's nothing else to do. I feel like I'm franz Kafka or Anne Frank. The only difference is that I'm trapped in my own body, alone with my own thoughts. The world is moving too fast and yet it is the slowest thing. If you're going through the same thing, or not, anyone is welcome to camp here and peruse through my 3 am thoughts. 31/12/2025

Dear reader, A creative short story exploring the 'secret annex' during world war 2 and the relationship between a house mouse bastiaan and Anne Frank.

And they went into hiding... While struggling with a sense of home, friendship and belonging after her family moves to Austria from Canada, Heather becomes unexpectedly intrigued by a story of their new home from thirty years earlier. Cover design by my friend, an artist!

Annelise Marie Frank has escaped the Holocaust more or less unscathed and is ready to begin her new life with blossoming love, hope and of course her diary Kitty. She is prepared to look upon this new world with optimism in her heart despite feeling the pain of losing her sister at the same time. Three years after the escape, she meets up with old familiar faces and begins to see this new life ahead of her. (A/N: Sadly this story is fictional and the real story has a much more tragic end... But in all her forms, Anne is and always will be a beacon of hope and light in a time of dark oppression. Anne Frank is an inspiring figure to so many people at the tender age of 15 and this story is to be taken with a grim realization that it is fictitious and only historically accurate to the point where it needs to be.)

Adina Aussenberg is a jew in Nazi Germany who embarks on a journey for survival at 11:52 PM when the Nazis were coming for her family. She finds love in the most unusual and forbidden way and experiences loss and heartbreak. The moment she shoots a Nazi dead, she realizes that she would do anything to keep her family safe. Even if it means becoming a monster. Highest rank: #376 in Historical Fiction

This is my first time showing my work to others so don't judge me too much if it's bad. The genre says Historical Fiction, but that's not really what it is. The Diary of Anne Frank is just...historical. But in my defence, I couldn't find anything else that fit the topic. This play covers the Diary Of Anne Frank. So this story will cover some topics that certain users may feel uncomfortable with. Once I am done with the music, I will upload a link to each song. - this was an assignment for my English class that I wished to share - Peter Van Daan was another person that Anne Frank lodged with while in hiding, along with his parents, Anne's Parents, Anne's sister, and eventually another man by the name of Dussel. These were code names, and I used the names Anne used in her diary as well. This was an assignment for my English class that I decided to share, nothing more.
