My own personal prequel to the Undertale game about Chara until her death.

This story has a center to center-left bias. Extreme figures such as Marjorie Taylor Greene and Tucker Carlson appear, but only for satire and dark comedy. Their views are not endorsed here or in real life. This is meant as dystopian fiction: a worst-case scenario where the United States falls into fascism (which it kinda did) and becomes the Free American Empire. Kinda sorta a young royals fanfic

Reeling from Holly's suicide attempt, the Martin family feels broken. So when a young man named Ian moves in down the block, each family member is ripe for the new adventures he offers: psychedelic awakening for father Jeff, sexual rebirth for mom Diane, and radical political activism for 15 year old Holly. But when Ian suggests something that feels a bit too close to kiddie porn for 13 year old Gretchen, she's on to him. He's exploiting all of them--but for what?

Welcome to a world where humanity has not only known about aliens for 19 years but also coexists with some of them. However, there's no talk of heavenly harmony here. Instead, you must brace yourself to navigate through the fog of secrets, power struggles, and deceits. But you are not alone: In this story, you will meet the young alien Lyra, who is searching for allies to fight for justice together in a world full of hate and oppression. P.S.
