I always think to myself how incredibly blessed i am to have the gifts of hearing, and seeing (even if i need glasses), especially seeing color. I just felt really inspired to write some kind of reminder of how lucky most people actually are, because people always complain about things wrong instead of looking on the bright side. This could be interpreted as sad, but I challenge you to look at all the perspectives. Also this isnt saying anything against deaf people at all, I'm only trying to get people to appreciate what they do have instead do focusing on what they dont.

Ever wonder what others do about fond memories of past loves? Although I loved Katie, she was the daughter of a dear friend. I loved her from a distance...one of many that loved her and tried to help her fight her battle with cancer. The story that follows this introduction is a true story of what her husband does to honor the memory of his past love. What feelings arise if I allow myself to be fully open to remembering that person? Katie battled a painful cancer and she still sang despite the pain. I too had some cancers, but although I didn't sing dealing with the cancers...the memory of her handling her devastating cancer helped me put my own in perspective. Her battle makes me appreciate each day just that much more...'life is short.' What is it about that special someone that you still cherish? Katie loved singing and she loved life. I put a high value on how she dealt with her battle, what she did when she thought she licked it, and how she and her husband Dean were a 'love-team' through the ups and the downs. In particular, how did that person's presence in my life change me and how I experience the world? I met Katie only once. It was a chance meeting at a class reunion. Her mother brought Katie and we talked quite a long time about personal values. I liked her and she liked me. We conversed by email later when I learned she had developed cancer. I tried to give her hope that she could beat the disease. I always liked life, but even I appreciate life so much more knowing how short it is and how you need to enjoy life every day. That's why I titled this story 'The Joy of Life.' I wrote this to honor her; however it brings tears to my eyes every time I read it. Maybe this love story will have others appreciate what they have.

Angelyn is alone in a cellar laying on the floor with blood in her hands she only vaguely remembers smashing the window. She was running away from something and now she has just put herself in a bad position. Above the cellar there is movement however not like any old human movement almost like a dragging and then a thump: dragging, thump, dragging, thump. And almost as if it was getting closer coming down to Angelyn, panicking she searched for a window but there was none to be seen. What comes next will change the whole of the world.

If music is your passion, if poetry tickles your soul, or if you're a lyricist at heart, my song book is something you might wanna take a look at. Music and writing are my 'things' in life, and this is where I'll post songs from the actual song book I keep laying around my room for when I need to let out a little frustration. Or tears. Or lovey-dovey cheesy love. Enjoy my lyrics!

This short story gives in insight into the female perspective of certain things we have to deal with. This Is a story that reveals a woman's inner thoughts in a bad situation. When u have to again deal with a person who has hurt you and changed your life. It's for men to understand how women feel and give them a new appreciation for women. It's for women to feel like there not alone and not the only one it's happened too and to be grateful that you might not have to go through it again unlike most people. There's a lesson behind it all.

I'm here to let all of you know that you're beautiful. You're great. You're amazing. You're wonderful. Those are just a few things that you all are. You are also.... (Please read to find out. This is a book to lift people's spirits, not bring them down. I know there are people with low self esteem and it sucks to have it, so this is for all those who feel like they're nothing)
