Her brother tries to defend her, but can she really be safe with his poor judge of character? Especially in the case of a certain omen of bad luck. Arthur, an eighteen year old adventurer and the brother of Aurora, does indeed have poor judge of character, but he's always been around terrible people. Despite this, he does find the good in others and always tries to show that to his sister. Unfortunately he is always proved wrong by his favored companions, who later reveal the worst of themselves to him. On top of that, he's always seen as less than, and he seems to have accepted that, but at least he understands that the only universal constant is that his sister loves him and he loves his sister. The main character is left ambiguous for a majority of the introduction. It's like he was plopped into the world at the last minute, even though he develops major plot points like the second magic system and the demon hunting. Those aren't even major spoilers, that's just surface level stuff. He's the aforementioned omen of bad luck that follows the siblings, and others that are soon to follow. Though, he seems to be the only competent one, as he saves the siblings time and time again. They almost seem useless to him, yet he stands by them anyway. One begins to wonder... is he really a demon?
