Every 1,000 years, the gods die. Or, at least, the twelve Olympians do. Cursed by the goddess Hecate as a form of revenge, the gods were fated to die every 1,000 years. Hecate and many other gods that were seen as less than or minor compared to the 12 Olympians were angered because they were less valued, and because they believed that all the Olympians did was make things bad for the humans, and for the world. But, even though they die, Hecate allowed them to be replaced by their children. Demigods. These demigods had to form groups of 12 and complete a set of trials set up by each Olympian. Many different groups attempted the trials, and the first group to complete all of them was announced as the new Olympians at the end of the 1,000 years. If you were to become an Olympian, you would receive all of your godly parent's powers. As a demigod, you have a small extent of their powers, but this, crowning, if you will, gives you more than you can ever dream of.

fire and water never mix well, its common knowledge. but there are instances where the two co-exist with one another, creating a beautifully dangerous event of chaos. Add in an "end of times" prophecy about a child of the big three, an equally chaotic prophecy about the oceans tide and the forgotten flame, things arent exactly easy for anyone involved, especially two teens who find a safe haven in one another despite their elemental differences. OR where the calm flames from the only daughter of Hestia intrigue the chaotic son of the sea. Will the tide of the ocean that cannot be tamed extinguish the warmth of her fire, or will the fates spare the two and change the prophecy that binds them, just this once.
