Mistogan's only friends are that of the trumpeter drake who raised him, Armando, and the black bears who are just like foster brothers to him, Soren and Bingo. Mistogan's only friend in his hometown is a chocolate-brown furred purebred F1 savannah she-cat after whom he secretly pines, Viveca, and Viveca's child owner, Lucy Neilsen, is Mistogan's only human friend but is also still only a child of around five to seven years of age, and it's only natural that Lucy's parents don't approve of their young daughter's newfound appreciation for an F1/2 savannah like Mistogan. Mistogan even comes across an arrogant and unfair black furred purebred F1 savannah tomcat called Black Mamba, who is also his hometown's favorite savannah tomcat.
