With access to better nutrition, improved veterinary care and management, horses are living longer. As in people, dog and cat arthritis sets in as the geriatric years fall upon them. It is no surprise horses are susceptible to arthritis as well, especially with some of the high impact activities they might do. It is important to identify early arthritis so it can be managed as best as possible, giving your horse quality of life which is as pain free as possible.

This novel follows the life of a little girl that was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of five years old and how she struggled to finally get to a period of remission in her twenties and then all the wonderful adventures she went on while in remission. It describes both the good and the bad about living with an auto-immune disease. She also had to deal with a sick brother that eventually became mentally disabled. This story would be applicable for both parents and children that suffers from the disease and hopefully it will bring some solitude in the knowing that they are not alone.

This story is about a girl named Jesabel. She finds out that she has arthritis. This is her story.
