Brendan has dreamed of becoming Champion since the day he received his starter Pokémon. After winning the Sinnoh League by defeating the legendary trainer Tobias in the finals, he's earned the right to challenge the Elite Four-four of the most powerful trainers in the region.

One day, Ash ended up in Alola and got a tour of the Pokémon School. There, he ended up making new friends. Mallow, Sophocles, Lana, Kiawe, Lillie, Paldea's transfer student, Liko, and Sinnoh's transfer student, Izuku Midoriya. Izuku was bullied a lot in his old school because he has the ability to understand Pokémon and was seen as a freak. But his new friends at Alola saw him as anything but. He and Ash became fast friends. As it turns out, he lives with Professor Kukui while he stays in Alola. How will Ash and Izuku deal with the trials that Alola will throw their way? And more importantly, what kind of romance is in store for Izuku?

When they meet at the University of Kalos, Ash under the alias 'Satoshi', can they move past their trauma and begin their lives again? This story takes place 5 years after the Master's 8 tournament, and Ash and Serena are both about 18. This story will include elements form all of Journeys, and a few aspects from the Scarlet and Violet games. This is a fic I wrote years ago, and I almost abandoned it after my writing skills and taste evolved, but I decided to complete it, edit it, and publish it. Thanks to anyone who followed me to wait for it, and sorry for the wait!
