Rain falls outside her window as she's starting to drift off to sleep. "What is something you've always wanted?" I ask her. As I wait for a response as she her shift and turn in her bed and then she looks at me. "I want a piece of the moon." Her sleep hazy voice echos through my brain as she falls asleep soon after. "Ok." I whisper as I kiss her on her forehead. "I'll get you a piece of the moon."

Silence does not always mean peace. It can be thick as air, and heavy as metal in a dark module. Light does not always mean life. Sometimes it only shows that nothing is changing. People are used to rhythms and signals. And when there are no signals, you have to listen to yourself. We do not know where the orbit leads. But even in space, where everything revolves, you can feel a pause.
