One lightning strike. Two left feet. Eight core needs. And one global superstar who won't stop mopping the kitchen.
Melissa Jean Murphy's life is a cycle of "Customer Service Smiles" and long shifts at Walmart. Her only escape is the glowing screen of her laptop, where she's spent months perfecting the ultimate "ATEEZ Legacy" save file in The Sims 4. Her masterpiece? A pixel-perfect version of Park Seonghwa, complete with his "Crazy Form" charisma and a "Neat" trait that keeps his digital world sparkling.
After a particularly brutal shift, Melissa makes a exhausted, half-joking wish: "If only he were real right now. At least he'd help me clean the kitchen."
Then the lightning hits.
When the power flickers back on, Melissa isn't alone. Standing in her kitchen-decked out in tactical leather, silver chains, and designer boots-is the real Seonghwa. But he isn't exactly the idol the world knows. He's her Sim. He's got the "Rule of Three" learning curve (failing spectacularly twice before mastering any skill), a compulsive need to scrub every dish in sight, and a "Watcher" app on Melissa's phone that tracks his every mood.
Now, Melissa has to navigate a glitchy reality where she can literally choose her dialogue from a "Romantic Interaction" wheel. As she hides a 6-foot-tall K-pop icon in her suburban home, she has to teach him that life is more than just green moodlets and "Daily Quests."
But back in Seoul, the rest of ATEEZ is hunting for their missing member. With a world tour on the line and a "Game Update" threatening to delete the glitch forever, Melissa has to decide: Is she falling for a program, or is the man behind the pixels the "Soulmate" aspiration she's been looking for all along?
