No sooner have they survived this adventure than Tom and his friends, after a brief stopover in Libya, are sent to Cyprus where they are to find out who is behind the constant killings of Turkish Cypriots, which are destabilizing the country. In doing so, they come dangerously close to the EOKA-B terrorists, who, as it turns out, are being controlled by the Athens junta. The aim of the Greek regime is to have a pretext for annexing the island. A war between Turkey and Greece seems imminent. I would like to point out once again that this book is fiction, albeit based on intensive research into the historical context. For example Philipos, the youngest, cheekiest and most precocious member of the group, on a mission that the group is carrying out in Kastoria in northern Greece, finds himself in a cellar with 100 skulls and a zombie, which is a big, albeit embarrassing, step on his path to adulthood. Time and again Tom and his friends get into unpredictable, dangerous situations, which they survive because the members of their group now understand each other other blindly, become braver each time and learn from their mistakes. Of course there are news about the love triangle of Tom - Sophia - Nikos, and love affairs also emerge among the other members of the resistance group. As I said - the journey continues, more adventurous, more dangerous, more exciting. This is a work of fiction, although I thoroughly researched the historical facts. I understand the cover of these one-shots looks very silly (Cover by Renicuzwhynot? on Amino.), but do not think that's what this book is. I hope to make it serious and historically accurate. At the beginning of this book there will be lots of ancient world, but maybe in due time I will move up the ladder to middle ages. If my worldview offends you stop reading now. I will not change it to suite the perceived needs of others. It's how I see the world. Everyone has a different way of seeing it. THERE WILL BE NO SMUT WHATSOEVER IN THIS BOOK. I know that not a lot of people post content about the ancient world and I've always wanted to see something like that. I hope this quenches the thirst for other historical loving Country-human fans.
