"The Land of Olives and Lemons" is the tenth volume in my book series "The Right People". In the winter of 1973, Tom is kidnapped by Melinda, an ex-agent of the East German secret police. While Tom's friends, led by Nikos, try to rescue him, Melinda forces Tom to drive her to the American Embassy in Bonn, and then releases him. No sooner have they survived this adventure than Tom and his friends, after a brief stopover in Libya, are sent to Cyprus where they are to find out who is behind the constant killings of Turkish Cypriots, which are destabilizing the country. In doing so, they come dangerously close to the EOKA-B terrorists, who, as it turns out, are being controlled by the Athens junta. The aim of the Greek regime is to have a pretext for annexing the island. A war between Turkey and Greece seems imminent. I would like to point out once again that this book is fiction, albeit based on intensive research into the historical context. All persons, including officials appearing in the book, as well as the plot, are fictitious. New chapters will be published every Saturday.

She boldly put her head up. "I am for the Athenians." ~*~ Kalika is a young Athenian girl. She serves others, one family in particular. There she meets someone, a boy by the name of Jayce. Jayce is the son of whom Kalika serves. They meet often, and Kalika asks that she serves someone of young age, she serves Jayce. They are just kids, they don't know all the news that is shared at the Agora. Or do they? Kalika and Jayce have heard things, including things from the Spartans. Ephialtes, a traitor would see many warriors in his day. You hear the tales of gods and goddesses, kings and queens, warriors and women. But there are some that go untold. Some like Lydia of Sparta, a great warrior who once knew Leonidas and loved him as a brother. Hers is a tale of heroism, hers is a tale of war, hers is a tale that starts and ends with death. Hers is a tale that shall not be forgotten.

This Fantasy Short Story, written for a Creative Writing class, is inspired by Classical Mythology and takes place in the Greek-inspired land of Gratia in the south of Cletus (the same continent where the unfinished Chronicles of the Fugitive Prince story takes place). This is countryhumans just so you know and if you don't like it then i honestly respect that, i know its historicaly inaccurate but im doing it just for the fun of it.
