Then suddenly
A hand wrapped around my waist.
Before I could react, someone pulled me sharply into a room beside the hallway. My back hit the door with a soft thud.
My breath caught.
It was him.
The same man from the audience.
His hand was still resting on my waist, firm but strangely gentle. He stood close enough that I could feel the warmth of his breath. His eyes were fixed on mine.
Those eyes.
Deep, steady, impossibly intense.
For a moment I forgot how to breathe.
He was... gorgeous. There was no other word for it. Tall, sharp features, an aura that felt powerful and dangerous at the same time. And his eyes... they were like fire hidden beneath calm water.
I was completely lost in them.
Then he leaned closer, his face brushing near my ear, and spoke in a low voice. He mouth smelled like alcohol and seceret, I don't know but I hate the smell of it, everytime I smell it always makes me puke
"Kaha tha na, main aaunga."
My heart skipped violently.
For a second I froze, trying to understand what he had just said.
Who was he?
Did I know him?
Had he mistaken me for someone else?
"Aa... aap kaun?" I whispered, my voice barely audible.
It was hard to even speak with him standing so close. And he smelled so good. Something warm and woody that made my head spin specially his neck makes me almost making me want to bite him there. What is this combination he smells so good but his mouth smells like secrets i would never kiss someone whose mouth smells like secrets.
Shut up Vaani. What are you even thinking.
I mentally scolded myself and tried to push him away. But he barely moved. He was stronger than he looked, though he was not hurting me.
He simply kept staring into my eyes as if he could read every thought inside my mind.
"Itni jaldi bhool gayi mujhe?" he murmured calmly.
But his eyes were anything but calm.
They burned.
"Chhodiye mujhe," I said, trying to pull away again.
To my surprise, he actually let go.
And I ran.
