"I don't just see the music, Lix. I feel it. It's like a puzzle where all the pieces finally fit." Twelve-year-old Avery is used to being the "misfit." Moving from the dry heat of Arizona to the humid, high-pressure halls of JYP Entertainment in Seoul was supposed to be a fresh start, but the language barrier and the overwhelming "noise" of the world often feel like too much for her Level 1 Autism to handle. Everything changes the day Bang Chan sees her dance. Plucked from the trainee dorms and thrust into the global spotlight as the ninth member of Stray Kids, Avery finds herself living a dream she never dared to imagine. From her obsessive love for their discography to her "human koala" tendencies, she quickly becomes the group's beloved-and incredibly clingy-little sister. But the path to the "DominATE" world stage isn't all glitter and fan chants. When a sudden heartbreak leaves her feeling abandoned, the "koala" turns into a "bear," lashing out at the eight brothers who promised to never let her go. Can Felix--her "sun" and ultimate bias-find a way to break through her walls, or will the pressure of the spotlight break Avery for good? A story of family, sensory-friendly safe zones, and the power of finding where you truly belong. Featuring: Felix, Bang Chan, Changbin, Lee Know, Hyunjin, Han, Avery, I.N., Seungmin. The Clingy Maknae: Avery's journey with Level 1 Autism and her special interests. The Sunshine Duo: The inseparable bond between Avery and her bias, Felix. OT9 Family: How eight older brothers learn to navigate a world that's sometimes too loud for their littlest member.

The other is an artist who stopped sketching and started swinging. But if the world will label them as villains, they might as well give them a reason to be afraid.

《《AUTHORS NOTE: I just want to make it clear that I am not romanticising autism or any disabilities for that matter. I am autistic myself and I wanted to make a character based off of me. Though I do love hugs and I don't have mutism, that is the only difference between me and Kwangsun.》》 ☆blurb ☆ 【Kwangsun prefers silence. Between the overwhelming noise of the world and the weight of unspoken words, he finds refuge in music, his guitar his only constant companion. A quiet, introspective boy, Kwangsun has spent most of his life avoiding attention-until Beomseok. Outgoing, protective, and fiercely loyal, Beomseok is everything Kwangsun is not, and yet, he's the one person who seems to understand him without needing words.】 【As Kwangsun navigates the pressures of college, his carefully constructed routines begin to unravel. From missed alarms to the resurfacing of old high school bullies, his world grows increasingly chaotic. But through every storm, Beomseok is there, standing by his side, offering a steady hand and a calm presence. What starts as a simple friendship slowly deepens into something more as Kwangsun begins to realize that Beomseok's presence is the one thing that makes the noise of life more bearable.】 【Yet, love is never simple. As the two boys struggle with their own insecurities and past traumas, they'll have to decide if they're brave enough to embrace the growing feelings between them, or if their silence will keep them apart.】 ☆ Character Songs ☆ • Beomseok: Chasing Cars - Snow Patrol • Kwangsun: Creep - Raidiohead • Hana: On The Moon - SULLI • Hana (Kwangsun's mum): I Need Somebody - DAY6 ☆ What each character looks like, based on real people ☆ • Beomseok: mix between @/xzhxxzzhh on tiktok and Yeonjun from txt • Kwangsun: mix between Beomgyu from txt and Jooyeon from Xrinary Heroes • Hana: a mix between SULLI and Hwang Ye-ji • Hana (Kwangsun's mum): Jeon Do-yeon (actress)

As a general rule, very few people who do not have autism have any idea how the condition actually affects people. That being said, this is nobody's fault considering the fact that very few people, those affected included, fully understand the condition. However, I would like to explain what aspects of it that I can. This is something that I have wanted to do for a while now and I finally worked up the nerve to do after I was told that, "everyone is a little autistic, just like everyone is a little gay." I feel like the person who said this didn't mean anything bad by it, just that we're all a little different but it jolted me into action and this book was born. I will be making a few posts about certain aspects of the condition myself, but I am also here to answer any questions that people may have.

Ace Mitchell is an eighteen year old boy who goes to Savanna District High. He likes calm environments and simple colors. He likes self-expression but doesn't like the attention that comes along with it. He has a few friends that love him unconditionally and has a good life at home. He gets okay grades and hasn't gotten any failing grades. And he has autism. You could never tell due to how normal he is but he does have autism and it does affect him. He's irritable to loud sounds and hates being in small or crowded areas. He doesn't want to be touched. It's not so visible and if you didn't know the symptoms and behaviors of autism, you would never know he had it. All you would know is, he doesn't have "normal" behavior. This isn't based on any true stories nor do I myself have autism but my cousin's son, along with two friends of mine, have autism and I will do my best to do research so I don't butcher Ace and his behavior. Please keep an open mind if you plan on reading. I do not mind criticism, just make sure it's proper and we'll have no problems! Enjoy! <3
