Until one day, she had to move from her sweet life in the crowded streets in pearl city to the overly populated ruby city. Now Yumi has to face a ton of challenges in order to make new friends. Until one day, she meets another new kid named Jamie. Except, Jamie made her feel different inside. What is this feeling? Can she find a way to either stop it or take this friendship to a whole new level? Find out in this book that I shall write.

Sydney doesn't like going to California to visit her aunt. She would rather stay in her cozy home in Phoenix than have to go live in the small one-bedroom apartment located in Manhattan Beach with her dad's weird sister. But this summer would be different. Sydney's aunt, becoming skeptical that she hasn't made a single friend in the 10 years she has come to visit her, decides to instead send her to summer camp. Great. Now, instead of being crammed in a tiny apartment with just her aunt, Sydney must now try to survive being crammed in an even smaller cabin with 11 girls. I had to remind myself countless times that it wasn't forever and that I had to do it. But it didn't change a thing. I was ready to quit the job even before starting out of fear. Because honestly, I was, and still am, scared.

You ever had an argument with your mom that resulted in you trying to knock her unconscious by throwing a glass at her head and her then kicking you out the house? An oddly specific question that you probably haven't been asked before. Here's the thing. My mom kicked me out of the house because we argued. All. The. Damn. Time. She obviously picked the final straw and got rid of me. Mind you, I can be a pain in the ass. Look this isn't some excuse for me to throw a pity party, I just thought that I'd do something. But I picked myself off the sidewalk and did something with my life (other than this); I busked. And that was enough for me to live.

Pouring my thoughts

It's been three years. Three years of chaos and craziness. It's the summer before college, and the gang is ready to leave Riverdale. You think they'd want to stay, but after everything that had happened, they were convinced the town was cursed. But before leaving on their separate paths, they've decided to recuperate for one last epic summer together! The whole gang is going up to California for the whole summer! They think it will be an awesome break before college. However, they'll soon learn trouble seems to follow them wherever they go.

Now she's on a struggle of leaving, staying, or calling out for help.
