S.H.I.E.L.D. is chasing down Franklin Forge, a man who can travel via portals to alternate universes. They end up in an alternate version of Brooklyn, New York. Here, S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't exist, so they enlist the help of the NYPD, more specifically Precinct Nine-Nine

After weeks of working one gruelling drug case, Jake finally gets a lead that can get him to one of the biggest suppliers in the city. However when the bust goes sideways, Jake ends up disappearing into thin air, his badge and gun discarded on the road and his radio smashed into thousands of pieces. After a year of searching, the nine-nine are still unable to find the missing detective and Amy, as well as the other detectives on that case, start to believe he's dead. By some miracle, however, one year after the detective goes missing, he shows up randomly in the precinct to report a crime. The one problem, he doesn't recognise the building or anyone inside of it. I'm taking requests for this series! Please leave them all here. I'll do angst, fluff, comedy, and pretty much anything but smut :) I also refuse to do y/n fics so. yeah. I've binged this show a few million times so there will be a lot of references to different scenes or jokes on it but unless it's from a specific event, none of the chapters will really be on the timeline of the sitcom. Like with most one-shots, please note that if non-cannon details are added in one chapter, they probably aren't true in the next unless stated. The exception to this is that Jake is definitely bi and has ADHD, you can't change my mind. Hope you enjoy, 99!
