A hobbit wants friends, good books, and comfortable chairs. Bilbo does his best to carve out a little hobbit life for himself in the mountain. If only there were not one final obstacle. (One part only!!!) Sleeping with the dwarven King was the worst possible thing Bilbo could have ever done, now he must return home carrying the weight of a child, Thorin Okanshield's child.

Bilbo is small, but he feels much more than he lets on. Hiding behind a respectful nod and a blinding smile he thinks he can manage. For as long as he needs to, he can hide behind his smile. He'll protect his friends from the venom brewing within his mind and his heart - why? Because he's Bilbo Baggins of course. And Bagginses are above all else, respectable.

Bilbo had never had much of an adventure before. He had heard great tales and fantastical stories, of course. And as the son of Belladonna Took, he learned a thing or two about fighting. But he was also the son of Bungo Baggins, and as a Baggins of Bag-End, he had to be a respectable member of hobbit society. So, the last thing he expected was to be approached by a wizard seeking him out as the fourteenth member of a dwarven company. The last thing he expected was to meet a dwarven king and go on an adventure with him. He just hoped now that his skills would be good enough to ensure his survival, and to some degree, the company's survival. It didn't help that he kept doubting himself... and that a few of the dwarves weren't as welcoming. He just had to prove himself, that's all. This is set a bit after the Battle Of The Five Armies. Few things to get out of the way- 1- Thorin Lives because I say so. 2- Bilbo took the wound meant for Thorin but lives 3- Fíli and Kíli live as well bc I could never 4- The Company is basically one big ass family now bc Bilbo is a sassy sweetheart who unknowingly stole their hearts in different ways 5- Bilbo has different types of friendships with each of the Dwarves. For Example Dori, Nori, and Ori basically adopted Bilbo as a brother. He will be the younger for Dori, more like a twinish bit with Nori, and older for Ori 6- Ori is baby. Wanna know who was Baby in the company? Look up Ori. Tell me that isn't baby. 7- Dwalin does not have a stick up his ass because he will support his brother in all but blood Thorin. I'm going to try to update this daily. It isn't going to happen, I'm still recovering, but I'm getting better and better, but I'm going to try. Once I get back the skill of writing with these stories, then I'm going to go back to wishing stones. Headcannons (since they are human in most of the stories: - Each have about a foot added on to their height, Bilbo being 5'1 Thorin being 6'2 in most stories - Thorin plays the harp and guitar, Bilbo occasionally plays the piano. - Bilbo speak French, especially when scared, annoyed, or thinking to herself. Thorin speaks Khuzdul (BECAUSE I LOVE KHUZDUL.) and occasionally French - Kíli and Fíli will most likely still be guys in every story, same with all other characters if they are mentioned. - Thorin is a huge softie around Kíli, Fíli, and Bilbo, occasionally Dís too, so her personality will be a bit different sometimes. - The most common ages in the stories are about 21-29 for Bilbo and 23-31 for Thorin (Thorin will always be a bit older at least) Kíli is about 8-10 and Fíli is about 9-14. This might change, it will say so in the beginning of the story if it does.

Bilbo Baggins should have seen this coming. When Fili and Kili came to him one peaceful morning spent relaxing on Beorn's porch with the peculiar request that he go hunting for some obscure item or other in their bags, he truly should have suspected something then and there.

In middle earth a young spirit decides to travel with Gandalf to reclaim the lonely mountain that she once protected with the company of Thorin.  I do not own any of the characters except Y/N all credit goes to the Author of the book J.R.R Tolken, also this might have a little bit of bagginshiled ;)the next book will be a Legolas x reader so stay tuned for that. Btw I will be editing this once it is finished, so any mistakes I have made will be fix in the near future

The exiled dwarves of Erebor-now living in Ered Luin-are not prospering. King Thrain is ailing and the settlement is poorer since the loss of the Crown Prince. Though not everyone is keen to see the return of Prince Thorin. Meanwhile, Bilbo Baggins travels to Bree on behalf of the Thain, his Uncle. Visiting the Forge, he meets a dwarf working for the Smith and suspects something is wrong. But getting involved, while maybe the right thing to do, is definitely not the safest...
