But there was more to his rich, busy & isolated life behind closed doors. After the loss of his mother, Gabriel became abusive towards his son; resulting in cruel, ruthless beatings & torture every day & night for Adrien. A new day, new bruises, scars & cuts, but a same old thing to cry about; leaving him vulnerable & courage-less to tell anyone. It worsened when he got into a fight with Cheri after blindly agreeing to a deal with his other classmate Marinette Dupain-Cheng; who was unhealthily obsessed with him; resulting in his soul being owned by her. They say that "life could be worse", & for Adrien..........it just did. I am an animator at Joey Drew Studios... well, I used to be. My first day at the studio was five years ago, I was only 18 then. I loved my job, other than the fact that the hours to work were starting to become unrealistic once Joey Drew - my boss - saw my talent. The studio shut down right after my 19th birthday. Fast forward to the present, I got a letter in my mailbox from Joey saying he had something interesting to show me. Well... things do get interesting, don't they?
