My 6th poetry book starts September 10, 2018. After Walking Forward to the Beginning, it's now time to head towards the future and all of my goals and dreams; a warrior marching down her path as depicted on the cover. This book will also be edgier then my previous ones as I share my thoughts on politics and other matters. Joella was always the weird kid, the black sheep, She made friends and excelled in school. But this came with a lot of bullying, And the wave of depression after. Despite that, She was as kind as she could be, And she cared about her friends more than herself. As hard as her bullies tried, They couldn't break her spirit, But that didn't stop them from trying... (Note that this has depressing stuff in it, Also, Nothing in this book is real situation wise, But the people in it are very much so real.)

Have you ever felt like you're the only one who cares? That the kindness you feel and wish to share is not what those around you, or the world around you wants? Have you ever felt so alone because you're so different, especially in mind? Like an outcast, ostracized for believing where others demand you submit to nihilism, subjugation, and cruelty? To be so full of and see so much of light, where those around you only chose to see darkness. And you're left feeling as if your life, your faith, your empathy, and your being are worthless? Well, hopefully this short story will give you an answer/reason as to why being you; different, kind, and/or faithful, are NEVER worthless and will NEVER be pointless. No matter how many scorn you, or how fierce nature may blow over you. Even if you may be alone, know that your faith and/or philosophy is NEVER alone; or for naught.

Ayomide, a once brilliant and studious girl, unconsciously drifted away from her dreams into the realms of nonchalant attitude towards her academics. This was due to the loss of her father to the painful hands on death, leaving only her single mother, who tried painstakingly to be the best for her daughter. But her best wasn't enough. She stumbled upon an unserious act who made the whole affair about her dead father bearable and she liked it there; in comfort.
