Red Bank Regional High School is one of the many high schools in Red Bank, New Jersey - where the musical originally founded. Alas, I don't think they actually name the high school or the town the musical's setting is in, so I just made it Red Bank - where BMC was played.

In which Jeremy Heere and Michael Mell swap bodies for unknown (and probably SQUIP-related) reasons. Shenanigans and hilarity ensue because of it. *(OKAY SO I posted this to Ao3 a while back but I'm putting it here so there's SOMETHING on my Wattpad account until I finish up my next fic. And, criticism is greatly appreciated!)*

Jeremy hated thinking about that, because to be honest? He was as in the dark there as Squip was. He liked to say he would turn hero in those final moments and save everyone, be the White Knight he always dreamed of being, but let's face it. Jeremy was no hero, no Knight. He couldn't even be a good underdog. Jeremy was, and always will be, a selfish loser. He knew it from the moment he took that damn pill. The zombie apocalypse (but not exactly) AU no one asked for :) (Gore warning!)

By a moment of chance Michael stumbles upon Jeremy. A cute nerdy boy that happens to be perfect crush material. It could've been the best summer romance of his life...there was just one problem, Jeremy already had a girlfriend. But after a phone call reveals Jeremy's girlfriend could be cheating on him, is there hope for their romance after all? Or is this summer romance destined to be a whirlwind of mystery, jealousy and pain?

What if Zoe died instead of Connor? What if Paul and Heidi met? And what if Evan Hansen and Jeremy Heere became stepbrothers? IDK...if you read the book...you'll find out. Note: This is right after the end of the Dear Evan Hansen musical, except that Zoe died instead of Connor. Also, the Squip is gone and there will most likely be no mention of it in this book.
