This is their alternate ending. As a fan of Avatar the Last Airbender, you can have the choice in deciding how the story ends. You're only limited by your own imagination. Following the narratives of Katara and Zuko beginning in book 3 when he joins the team and continuing into the comics. Little dialogue from the show will be altered, but rather follow their more subtle inner monologues while rehashing the pair's troubled past. Upon reaching where the show ends is where change in story takes place. Creative liberty will be taken to create scenes in between canon scenes to make Zuko and Katara's slow burn relationship feel more authentic. It's my mission to do this ship justice in a true alternative ending that follows chronology and timing.
