Bestrong Stories

The journey to confidence is hard and confusing, but without it, it is hard to stand up to other people or even ourselves in general. We learn through our own journeys, and I have a terrible time with confidence though I can literally go up to anyone my age or younger and talk to them one on one. Odd right? Well this book I'm hoping will not just encourage me to become more confident in myself, I'm also hoping it helps any of you out there with that same struggle.

"Hey Guys!" He said, with a friendly smile. I waved hi, and looked at the kid standing next to him. "Oh! Right. This is my son, Colten." I waved at him. "Hi, my names Catana." I greeted him. "Catana? As in, like the sword Katana?" He asked, spark in his eyes. I shook my head. "It's spelled with a 'C' not a 'K'." I said, correcting him. He just nodded. I looked at my dad. "Hey Dad. What's the special thing?" He laughed. ~He's the 'special' thing? Is my dad crazy? He's just a kid like me. Nothing special about him.~ I smiled, not trying to be rude. Colten smiled back.

When you're hollow from their lies, Their hesitancy leave you alone, When your memories faded them and they keep giving you scars, When your body become numb, Your hands become white, Your hearts gets stabbed, Your soul gets drenched with the miseries, Their laughing make you sick, Their shadow trembles you, Will you decide to leave? Will you run away from them or keep embracing all the pain and miseries? . . . . . . . A short poem 'Running Away' is presented to all my reader's. Not everyone steps forward to share their sorrow and handle it alone masking a beautiful smile on their lips. SALUTE TO YOU ALL!

21st century Phoenix Drop is filled to the brim with street crime. People don't dare go out onto the street at night in fear of being robbed. Young couple, Katelyn Firefist and Jeffory Goldheart are saved from a bunch of thugs by a hooded man who calls himself Red Dragon. Even the police, who are unfortunately corrupt, can't figure out who this man is... That was until more of these incidents start happening, beaten up thugs in dark alleyways, gang members being assassinated and corrupted police officers being paralysed. All of them saying that the man was a hooded individual with a red dragon as his symbol. But more vigilantes are stepping forwards, and now the young couple are interested in these individuals. And what do do they call them? Street Beast heroes.

Ok, well just to start off, poetry isn't really my thing, but I decided to give it a try. These are my poems, I came up with them after being inspired by either events that have happened in my life, music, etc. Hope you guys like them and feel free to comment on them. :)
