Her family, especially the women, expects her to fail. None of her family went to college, they were all arranged into marriages at the age of 18. That's not Cheryl's story though. Cheryl wants to be someone, have a life, a girlfriend, maybe even a kid or two, she'll survive on her own. She doesn't need her homophobic, misogynist "family". What she doesn't know, is that soon she'll need a certain older woman. Specifically, her 38 year old professor. Antoinette 'Toni' Topaz has been a college professor for over 10+ years. Every year is the same, a new class comes, a new class leaves. This routine is normal for her. Toni goes to class, goes home, and repeats it the next day. Over and over, year after year, class after class, this stays the same. Until...class of 2028...You see, this class is different. Why?
