Fatima is still trying to find her footing in the world when tragedy strikes: someone she loves dearly suddenly passes away, leaving behind a fifteen-year-old daughter with nowhere else to go. Overnight, Fatima becomes a provider, and the only steady ground for a grieving teenager whose world has been torn apart. But while she's expected to be the strong one, Fatima is quietly unraveling under the weight of her own heartbreak. She's navigating adulthood, career pressures, financial strain, and the lingering question of who she wants to become while learning how to parent a girl drowning in loss and anger. As the two struggle to coexist in a home filled with grief, they begin to discover that tragedy doesn't only destroy but it can also reshape. Through late-night arguments, unexpected laughter, and shared memories of the person they both loved, they slowly piece together a new kind of family. And just when life feels too heavy and responsibilities too overwhelming, love appears in the most unexpected way challenging Fatima to believe that even in the midst of sorrow, there is still room for healing, hope, and second chances.ther Zatima story

"Cuz if it's easy, it won't be amazing, if it's amazing it won't be easy, if it's worth it, you won't give up, if you give up, you're not worthy..." *** For Zubaida the rules have always been simple. Playing it safe when it came to her fragile heart had always been the best and only option. Risking it all and going to heights for love had never been her known forte, not after facing the brutal reality of what the other side of love could be like at least. Fahad on the other hand, still has some demons of his to fight. Four years ago, he'd lost the one person that meant the world to him and it had been it for him since then. No one could get through the walls he'd built around him eversince. Life pulls these two towards each other and suddenly love comes crashing down the walls of these two fractured souls, and the thin line between love and friendship couldn't seem more blurry. Mix this up with the web of jealousy, lies, greed, envy, and hidden secrets that lie around them and it's one hell of a wild emotional rollercoaster full of obstacles, pain, crises and hardships, but amidst it all is a journey of friendship, love, growth, and life changing lessons. They say the best things in life happen when unexpected, but at the same time, the most beautiful roses are those that come with the sharpest thorns. How much would you let yourself go through for the sake of the one person that means everything to you, and how far could you go for the sake of love? *** "...cuz truth is, everyone's gonna hurt you, you just gotta find those who are worth suffering for." DISCLAIMER: THIS BOOK MIGHT BE A MUSLIM ROMANCE BUT IT DOES NOT PORTRAY THE RIGHT AND PROPER ISLAMIC TEACHINGS.

:: One-shot story 💭 Friday, March 24, 1944, little Stinney came home from school and brought his 9-year-old sister, Aime Lou, to the fields to exploit and graze their cow, Lizzy. The field was located between the houses and also near the railroad tracks that is separating the black and white communities of Alcolu, this area can be also caught from the Stinney's house. During the duties of the child with his sister, two girls named Betty June Binnicker, age 11, and Mary Emma Thames, age 7 were pushing bicycles near Stinney and his sister. When these young girls got nigh the siblings, they asked George and his sister if they knew where the Maypop flowers were, but the Stinneys told them they didn't know where to seek out the flowers, and so without further ado, the girls left after their brief communication. Later that time, Aime Lou Stinney Ruffner recounted that it was absolutely strange to see white girls in their area because Caucasoid or white race usually didn't venture to the black side of town. What trouble would Stinney Jr. and his family awaken thereafter that time? Please, Keep The Mustard Seed is an inspirational, coming of age folklore. The main character, Victory "Vic" Cummings, is a young man from Chicago who is attempting to get over a severe job loss. The job loss has left him struggling the way to provide for himself and take care of his fiancé, Faith who is pregnant with his child. Vic has fallen into a near depressive state which frustrates Faith. After Faith challenges him to find himself, Vic reaches out to his Uncle Gabe for assistance. Uncle Gabe, a farmer by trade, offers to help Vic with his financial problems. But, Uncle Gabe's offer has a catch; he requires Vic to perform a dig on his farm to find a mustard seed. While this task seems impossible to Vic, he has to make a decision. Should he complete this task for Uncle Gabe or should he give up and find another way to make ends meet? Little does Vic know, either choice he makes will change his outlook on life. Please, Keep The Mustard Seed is the first of many novels, novellas, and novelettes in my collection of writings. The purpose of this story is to allow readers of all backgrounds to understands the racial, socioeconomic, and generational complexities of masculinities in today's society. It looks at how man should cope with setbacks, failures, societal roles and expectations.
