Ricky broke up with Landry because he's moving back to Texas he didn't know how to tell her so he said he didn't love her anymore. It just slipped out. He wants to tell her he loves her before he moves back. Will he be able to do it.

A new girl to a big game, Lilah, is extremely intimated as she shows up to her first bout. (Even though it is just to watch and keep skaters under control.) She was recruited to substitute ref from her local roller rink by a couple of jocks on the Bomb Squad team. Aparently she had hung out there too much and they thought a change of scenery and style would be nice. She soon finds herself plucked from reffing by her sorta-kinda-maybe-perhaps friend and though she's tempted to skate right into the other direction of figure skating, she can't go too far before being called out on destruction of pack and cowardice. So, instead of sitting out, she faces the challenges of being a roller derby fanatic.

This is an autobiographical romantic story. Late Liking is not your usually romance. It seems to be a little different. Instead, I write to you the story of about two years of my high school experience and how I didn't get the girl in the end. Late Liking is a nine part story where I explain each detail and how it didn't end well.
