The story of Buckynat. Bucky and Nat found themselves drawn to each other but didn't know why. They didn't know they met each other years ago. What if their memory comes back? Will they move on from their past? Will they have the chance to fall in love?

The young Black Widow has been on the run for a while until she's found by the Winter Soldier, who was sent to kill her by her old captors. But what happens when she finds out that the very man is her mate? Does he finish the job? Will he be able to escape Hydra to be with his true omega?

The past isn't always buried. After the brutal mission with Leo Novokov, Natasha Romanoff awakens with pieces of her life missing, fractured memories veiled in a fog she can't quite penetrate. Her life as a spy, her history as an Avenger-it's all there, except for the warmth of something she can no longer feel but senses should be there. Bucky Barnes, the man who once knew her better than anyone, has chosen to remain hidden, leaving the love they shared buried for her own protection. Bucky is a ghost in her life, careful to stay in the shadows, but unable to fully let go. Everywhere he goes, there are quiet reminders of Natasha-the faded notes in his journals, the scars they gave each other, the empty side of his bed each night. But he's convinced that to bring her memories back would endanger her, so he lets her go. For Natasha, however, the whispers of her past are relentless. Fleeting fragments of laughter, half-remembered dreams, and the brush of a familiar touch haunt her in the quiet. And as she uncovers old trinkets, redacted files that even her highest clearance level can't access, and glimpses of a man whose eyes spark an unexplainable ache, she realizes that her past holds secrets someone wants her to forget. Driven by curiosity and a deep, instinctual yearning she doesn't understand, Natasha starts to chase the fragments back to their source. And with each step, Bucky finds himself pulled closer, torn between protecting her and wanting her back.

Natasha Romanoff has always had feelings for James Barnes but never had the courage to confess because she thinks that she's not deserving of any type of love because of her past. The two grew up together in Russia as orphans. They both shared the same passion when it comes to becoming agents so they trained together and both eventually got promoted to join SHIELD in New York. When she finally has the courage to confess, here comes a guy named Steve Rogers, who is a fellow SHIELD agent she works with at the facility. He's known as the man who will do nothing wrong and also has nothing but good intentions. A tragic accident occurs later on and Natasha finds herself in a position where she finds herself not being able to choose between the two gentlemen - James, who she thinks is the love of her life or Steve who has done nothing but good to her and whom she'll always feel indebted to. - Another storyline I have in my head so I want to see where my imagination would go with this one. I've always been a romanogers stan but buckynat has been growing on me so I want to see how it would go when the partners are switched.
