Natasha starts to walk into the palace but someone grabs her hand and tugs her back to them. "You seriously gonna act like I don't remember anything, Natalia?" Natasha gasps breathlessly. She hasn't heard that nickname in a long long time and there was only one person who she allowed to call her that. She's too afraid to look up at him, afraid that all the emotions will come rushing back. "Natalia," His hand gently forces her to look up at him. Just like she predicted, all her memories, all her emotions from those days back in the Red Room came flooding back. "James," The name rolls off her tongue gratefully. just by a name, she's filled with childish love like she was all those years ago, safe in James Buchanan's arms. This is a sequel to Red Winter. I didn't plan on writing a sequel but here it is! Again, the events transpire in a timeline where they've restored everything after defeating Thanos and reversing the effects of the snap. This is focused on Natasha, Bucky and Steve only. I have always appreciated the dynamics of Steve and Natasha's relationship even if there is no romance in it. And I often wonder how Natasha and Bucky would interact in the present considering their past. Again, I don't own Marvel and any of its characters. Just like you I daydream what happens between the fades in and fades out, between the end of the movie, its mid-credits scene and end-credit scene. And this is the result, one of the results.
