everything had gone back to normal in hawkins, indiana when eleven had closed the gate a year prior. she also got what she'd always wanted, to date mike wheeler. things seemed great, until will felt the mind flayer in him again at day of the dead. that's when the party and the rest of the gang decided to band together to help defeat the mind flayer once and for all. will sorts out his feelings with his completely oblivious best friend, who soon realizes el is not the one for him. like any other good summer, it sparks some new relationships and budding romances. but, of course something is going to get in the way of that..

I wrote this before the finale aired and it captures my prediction of what I think will happen in the scene that sets Mike and Will up for a Byler endgame! If I'm right, I cooked here. If I am wrong, I still think it should have happened this way and you can't change my mind! Enjoy....

Byler fic, I came up with in English class

It's 1989 in Hawkins, Indiana. Mike Wheeler is starting his final year at Hawkins High School alongside his close friends Dustin Henderson, Lucas Sinclair, and Maxine "Max" Mayfield. They're the most popular group in school, and most people make sure to stay out of their way, until a new kid arrives: Will Byers, along with his sister Jane Hopper who also happens to be Mike's neighbours. At first, Mike and Will aren't exactly fond of each other. But when they're paired together on a school project, who knows what might happen...

Two broken-hearted boys trying to find someone to talk to... ending finding each other. Will after his first love which ended with the worst possible way. And Mike whose his first love ended by the missing of communication within them. They are devastated and trying to get some help find each other and begin meeting more often making his friendship stronger than ever. And maybe after some meetings, they haven't ever been just the best friendship of Hawkins-because they were destinated to be more than that.
