Now to prevent Vecna from infiltrating the mind of his most perfect host the two of them must pretend to be the other. Will grapples with the feelings that he's trying to push away. Mike wonders why it feels like he's falling in love all over again. What will become of everything when Hawkins finally falls?

In this story, Mike has too choose between two possible love interests, El and Will. But what happens if Mike takes too long and they both move on?

- This is my rewrite of stranger things season 5 because the duffer brothers genuinely got a lobotomy or something before writing season 5. -The whole premise of the season is going to change as I hated the way they just "patched" up the massive gaping hole -I am mostly going to focus on Mike and Will's POV because I want them and the main four to be the center of the show again, reminicent of season 1. -Byler is going to be canon and I am going to write it very realistically from who I perceive the characters to be thus far. -I haven't written a fanfic in a while so please bear with me as I get back into writing -Enjoy!
