My voice didn't waver. "But I never swore allegiance to you... Zahard." Silence. The air grew thick, the weight of my defiance pressing between us like an unsheathed blade. I knew the cost of those words, yet I refused to kneel - not before the throne, not before him. His eyes narrowed, lips curled into something between pity and cold amusement. He gazed down at me like I was an ant. "I see..." _______________ This story is about a girl named Midnight. Left alone, she walked around the floors of the Tower, not suspecting what adventures and acquaintances awaited her. How will relationships with new companions develop? What secrets will have to be solved in order to climb higher? And who will be able to melt her icy heart and principles? _______________ This story based on Tower of God, that belongs to SIU. All arts made by me.
