At fifteen years old, Ben feels ancient. Trapped in the suffocating crossfire of his parents' constant, toxic fighting over bills and unmet expectations , his home in Bacolod City has stopped being a sanctuary and turned into a battlefield. His grades are slipping , his motivation is gone , and he feels like he's messing everything up.
To escape the crushing weight of a life he never chose, Ben takes to the night. Armed only with the last of his allowance, he spends his late-night hours riding near-empty buses around the sprawling city, finding a strange, untethered freedom in motion without a destination. But after a compassionate teacher, Mr. Clark, confronts him about his apathy and challenges him to look past his resentment , Ben finds himself at a literal and metaphorical crossroads.
Pulled up to a deserted station at 2:47 AM , Ben faces the ultimate choice : step off the bus into a daunting, penniless unknown , or return home to face the painful gray areas of an imperfect family that is barely keeping its head above water.
