Dean's father died to protect the King on a pilgrimage to receive the Goddess's blessing. Now Dean hears his father's voice in his dreams, calling him to his grave. The only way up is to pledge himself to the King, for the rest of his life. Castiel rules, his kingdom rent in half by a civil war his uncle started, and resents the need for a Lionheart. But the pilgrimage cannot be done without one. With whisperings of raids and gathering forces at the border of his split kingdom, and his own power dwindling, Castiel is pulled in all directions. Receiving the Goddess's blessing is more important now than it ever was.

This takes place after season 15 ends. Jack is the new god and brings everyone and everything back. Gabriel is one of the main characters and there is sabriel and a bit of destiel. But the main focus is all the other angels and the changes going on in heaven. This is the sequel everyone deserves to get and the happy ending that our boys never got.

Lucifer has escaped from the cage, but how he did it not even Crowley knows. He needs help, so he goes straight to the angels and not even they have a clue as to what Lucifer is up to. Sam and Dean are contacted by Castiel who drags them into the whole mess. Meanwhile in London Sherlock is investigating a case related to Lucifer escaping the cage, having no clue that the death is related to Lucifer is why he's stumped. Sherlock runs into an impossible man calling himself the doctor who claims to know what happened in the strange deaths and how to stop it. Will these three parties team up together or will all hell break loose in chaos.
